Some of us find it easy but for others it can feel unnatural and awkward. It’s perfectly normal to feel self-conscious when speaking to the creator of the universe. No matter how we feel, God values all our prayers and just because we aren’t a vicar it doesn’t make our prayers of any less value. Recently I’ve been struck by a desire within the congregation to pray more for the growth and development of CHURCH in the PARK. For some of us that might be a big ask but I wonder how many of us pray each day for our church and our community?
This time of Lent is the perfect opportunity to begin getting into good habits so why not give it a go?
The following advice is given by the Church of England and is a helpful guide to getting started with prayer.
